01 — Why Driftwood
You took the photos. We do everything else — the choosing, the writing, the designing, the printing. You just get the credit.
Four thousand photos in, forty keepers out. Driftwood spots the duplicates, the blinks, and the blurry shots — then finds the frames that actually tell the trip.
Dates, places, and golden-hour light become short, human captions — never robotic, never cheesy. Edit anything, or let it ride as written.
Six editorial themes, zero dragging boxes around. Your photos get typeset like a travel magazine — full-bleed spreads, quiet margins, rhythm.
Stitched lay-flat binding, acid-free matte paper, linen covers in four colors. Built for coffee tables, sticky fingers, and grandkids.
Your route, the coordinates, and the name of that beach — printed alongside the photos. Context is half the story, and we keep it.
Kraft box, linen wrap, and an optional handwritten note tucked inside. The best present isn't a thing — it's a shared memory, bound.
02 — How it works
The whole thing takes about ten minutes of your time. The app does the heavy lifting; you keep the veto power.
Upload
Connect your camera roll or drag in a folder. Duplicates, screenshots, and duds are filtered out before you see a thing.
Curate
In minutes, your trip is sequenced into chapters with captions and layouts. Tweak as much — or as little — as you like.
We print, stitch, and ship to your door with tracking. Your trip, off the cloud and onto the shelf — where it belongs.
03 — Pricing
No subscriptions, no upsells at checkout. Every book starts as a free preview — you only pay when you love what you see.

04 — Stories
Fifty-two thousand books later, this part still doesn't get old.
I uploaded 3,000 photos from our month in Vietnam and got back a book that made my mum cry. It cut the duplicates, kept the chaos that mattered, and wrote captions that sound like me on a very good day.

“Vietnam, 31 days” — The Driftwood
We've made one after every trip since 2022. They're the only souvenirs we own that don't gather dust — guests actually pick them up, and suddenly we're telling the story of the night train to Kyoto again.
Tom & Aisha Okafor
“Japan, honeymoon” — Heirloom
I'm a working photographer and I was fully prepared to hate the auto-layout. Instead I changed two pages out of eighty. The lay-flat binding is genuinely beautiful — my studio copy is already worn at the corners.

05 — Questions
It scores every frame for sharpness, light, faces, and composition, then throws out duplicates and near-identical bursts. What survives gets arranged by time and place into chapters — arrivals, wanderings, meals, golden hours. You can swap, remove, or reinstate any photo with one tap. The AI proposes; you dispose.
Everything is editable. Rewrite captions, drag pages around, change themes, swap a photo for one the AI missed. Most people touch about ten percent of the book; some obsess for a week. Both approaches end beautifully.
Anything from a modern phone (8MP and up) prints gorgeously at our page sizes. Driftwood gently enhances older shots — denoising, lifting shadows — and it will always warn you before printing a photo that would come out soft, so there are no surprises in the box.
Your preview is ready in minutes. Once you approve it, printing and binding take 3–4 days, and shipping runs 3–5 days depending on where you live. Most people are holding their book within ten days of uploading, with tracking the whole way.
Yes — full stop. Your library is encrypted in transit and at rest, never used to train public models, and never seen by human eyes unless you explicitly ask our team for design help. Delete everything any time; unprinted uploads are automatically wiped after 90 days.
The free preview means this almost never happens — but if your book arrives and it isn't right, tell us within 30 days and we'll reprint it or refund you in full. No forms, no interrogation, no returning the book. Keep it or gift it onward.
Somewhere in your camera roll is a story worth keeping. Give Driftwood ten minutes and a folder of photos — we'll give you back something you'll still be opening in thirty years.
